newbiedetective: (gears turning)
--She's lived in London all of her life
--Gwen got into theatre when she was young. Her mother took her to see Swan Lake because she couldn't find a babysitter. Far from being bored, nine-year-old Gwendolyn was entranced by the movement and grace of the dancers. Ballet lessons were too expensive, but Gwen auditioned for the school play (a dreadful version of Pride and Prejudice adapted for pre-pubescent children), and was awarded the role of Mary Bennet. It was a start.
--She stammers. Consonants are sometimes tricky for her, particularly 'w,' 'f,' 'm,' and 'p.' She does not, however, stammer on stage, or when she's a) angry and b) swearing. But that's just rude!
--Her biggest case so far was getting undeniable proof that a woman's husband was having an affair. Mostly, she sticks with missing objects or people who couldn't find somebody's address on Google.
--She stays away from murder. They have police for that, and blood makes her woozy.
--Sexually speaking, Gwen's not interested in men.
--Gwen keeps a blog, but doesn't update it very much. She comments on others, though. Her handle is Swansleuther.
--She doesn't live with her mother anymore, but they have breakfast every Sunday, without fail.
--She never learned ballet, but can do a passable waltz.
